Top 12 Plugins For WP Wordpress Blogs
This is my top 12 list of plugins based on the theme of this blog. It should be pretty obvious to all, that if for example you run a Photo Blog, then your list of top plugins is likely to differ considerably to this one. Having said that, I do believe that most blogs irrespective of theme, would benefit from the inclusion of most, if not all of the plugins listed below.
As any seasoned blogger knows, it can be mind numbing trying to sift through the vast array of plugins that Wordpress has on offer, therefore I hope this page will go some way towards helping the newcomer to WP Wordpress Blogs.
So What Is A Plugin
No you can put away the extension lead, we are not talking about anything to do with mains supply! What we are talking about is small packages of code (usually php), that when added to Wordpress, extend or increase it’s funcionality. Quite often as Wordpress gets updated (and that is pretty often) certain plugins will become obsolete as their function gets built into the newer versions of Wordpress. However at this moment in time, the listed plugins below are not yet included in Wordpress & who knows if they ever will be…?

There will be statistics recordered on how many times they attemp to visit your blog. It allows wildcard matching too.

This plugin helps you to keep your database clean by removing post revisions and spams in a blaze. allows you to rename your admin name also. Additionally it allows you to run optimize command on your wordpress core tables (use with caution).
