Web CEO  is another of those very handy tools for search engine optimization, that one should have safely tucked away in your SEO Tool Kit.

By using this free to use software you can not only follow your blog ranking with a huge selection of popular search engines, but also keep up to date on your blog’s current backlinks.

Web CEO prices, like any other SEO software, are a little out of the range of most bloggers wallets. With the cheapest package priced at just under $200 & then ranging as high as $480 for the top package, which is aimed at SEO professionals, this software would normally be out of range of most newcomers or hobby bloggers.

Now whilst I would be unlikely to dash off and part with $200 bucks for this software, the Free version is definitely worth having & although there is no time restriction on the software (as is the case with trial versions), there are limits applied to various tools within the package. One such limit is when doing a ranking check on your website or blog, you can only actually check a maximum of 5 keywords or phrases in each run. Yes this can be a tad irritating at times, but no more so than parting with $200 of my hard earned cash!

Gain Some Insight To Your Blogs Performance

I have found that by using this free version of Web CEO, even with the restrictions, I can still very easily track my blogs performance for various keywords & phrases or backlinks, even whilst writing an article (as I am doing now). I can then combine this data with my blog stats from AWS in my CPanel & can get an overall picture of my blogs performance without having to spend a single cent.

Track ranking changes to your site

The ability to be able to track changes on an individual keyword or phrase over a period of months, is one aspect of Web CEO that I find particularly useful, especially when testing different SEO strategies. By comparing results with AWS in CPanel, it becomes very easy to get a clear picture of your blog ranking & performance and to be able to keep your finger on the pulse as it were.
