“Google Adwords Optimization Boosts Adsense Earnings.”
Google’s pay per click advertising (Adwords) Can indeed Boost Your Adsense Earnings! A bit of a bold statement you may think, but I assure you that it is true.
A week or two back we did an article explaining how to optimize your adsense for increased earnings, but that article dealt solely with colour, layout, type & size of adverts. This new article however, is going to show you how to choose the best high paying keywords in order to get the maximum benefit from your keywords & Adsense account. Please bear in mind that what we are dealing with here are NOT ranking keywords, the keywords & phrases shown here are for Google Adwords Accounts, but by including some of the more appropriate ones in our article text, it can have the effect of instructing Google Bot to deliver some of these higher paying adverts.
So first things first, lets access the Google Adwords Page
1. As you can see in the image above, I am using the search term SEO Tips & have adjusted the settings to All Countries + English, once you are happy with your chosen settings simply click the search button.
2. After clicking the search button you will be shown a screen similar to the image above, now click the “columns” button shown at top right.
3. When this next image appears simply uncheck local search trends & check Estimated Avg CPC (Average Cost Per Click), remember to click “Save”
4. Now by clicking where indicated it will sort the column highest to lowest (very handy) & wow just look at the value of some of these keywords! Now remember that this column is labeled as “Average Cost Per Click” , nevertheless I think it is pretty obvious that there would have to be a huge drop in order to only receive the usual 5 or 10 cents that is so common with Google Adsense.
Another great trick for using adwords to optimize older articles, is simply to add an extra sentence somewhere in the begining of the article & make sure to include some appropriate high value keywords in this sentence. I tried this method myself on an article about hosting & actually received clicks worth $2.42 & $2.72 each.
By using some of these high paying keywords & phrases throughout your article, you will actual receive higher paying Adsense adverts placed on your site & while it is true that you will never receive what is shown in these images, by optimizing your Google Adwords, you will give a significant boost to your Adsense earnings.
