Also you may have gathered from the tone of my article that I am not a great fan of these social sites, it is so easy to get wrapped up in maintaining a social pressence, that very often you can find your site suffering from a lack of attention. To be honest with you, at the time of writing this article LinkedIn was not giving me any referrals & so I didn’t see it as worth mentioning at the time!

I use Linkedin groups to post and answer discussion questions to my target population and the traffic to my blog and website increases proportionally to my participation.
