How Automating Blog Promotion Boosts Web Traffic!
We all know how time consuming it can be to try and spread the word about your latest blog post. Very often the time spent at various social networking / bookmarking sites, is enough to write another two articles, so is it wise to continue promoting your blog..?
Well actually yes it is, the simple fact remains that the more places your blog is mentioned, the better it will be for your traffic levels. Each occurrence of your site name or recent article is basically nothing more that an advert to your site, so how do we use this method to our best advantage..?
Manual submission is really a non starter, the time involved is just far more than can be justified! However I recently stumbled upon a website / update service that litterally left me gob smacked. I had seen this service mentioned many times around the Internet, but never took the time to read fully what it was all about.
The service in question is Ping.FM

Now in case you don’t know, Ping.FM is a free service and as it says above, it allows you to post from anywhere to anywhere just about! Simply register using your email, this will take you a couple of minutes only. The next step however can take considerably longer as there are 30 social networks to choose from, see image below.

Now if your lucky you may well find that your already registered with quite a fwe of these social network sites, but if not then this can be very time consuming in creating accounts with each one. The best method I found was to pick a top ten and do those first, the others can be done at a later date, I have now just got 6 more to go and that will give me a list of 28 out of the possible 30 sites. Oh and unlike the OnlyWire Plugin, this system actually does work!
So my friends, stop wasting valuable time getting links posted on social network sites! Let Ping.FM handle this side of things for you and you will be amazed at how good a job it will actually do.
